Saltwater Waldorf School invites one and all to join us for our annual Maypole Festival at Simms Park on Friday, May 5 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Bring a picnic for your family and enjoy old fashioned games, crown making and crafts. Students from Saltwater School will perform some traditional Maypole dances and then invite the public to join in the fun. There will also be a plant sale. This Festival is open to everyone and there is no admission.
Saltwater Waldorf School is a growing independent school in the Comox Valley. We are dedicated to nurturing the whole child with a curriculum that is rich in the arts, music, movement and contact with nature.
The Maypole Festival celebrates the lengthening of days and the beginning of a new growing season.
