The Pretty Pawz team is once again raising funds for Movember, with a nail-clipping fundraiser.

Now in its third year, Jeanie Hall and Cassidy Roe will be at Van Isle Veterinary Clinic on Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to take care of your pets鈥� nails.

The Movember initiative is responsible for funding research and raising awareness for prostate cancer and overall mental health for men.

The cause is close to Roe鈥檚 heart.

鈥淚 chose the Movember fundraiser because my dad has prostate cancer so I wanted to help raise funds,鈥� she said. 鈥淰an Isle Vet is so supportive. They let us do it there every year, because we get such a big crowd coming in. With my co-worker (Hall) helping, we do it on a Thursday because it鈥檚 a day we both are not otherwise working so we can get them all done together.

鈥淥ur target this year is $2,200.鈥�
