With the summer coming you are going to need to water your garden again.
With water restrictions in effect already you know that the old sprinkler will have to be replaced. It wasn’t very efficient anyway.
But what to replace it with?
The Comox Valley Growers and Seed Savers have organized a free and public workshop where you will learn the most efficient way of watering your garden. This Irrigation workshop will take place at Innisfree Farm on Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m.
Graham McMullen, an expert on drip irrigation from Corix, will show you the steps to set up an inexpensive system for your garden, that will save you time and money. He will review all the systems available today and explain in detail how to set them up.
The Comox Valley Growers and Seed Savers (www.comoxvalleygrowersandseedsavers.ca) is a group of gardeners sharing their skills and knowledge. They present workshops and lectures to the community and organize Seedy Saturday.
The directions to the workshop at Innisfree Farm are at www.innisfreefarm.ca.
