Preparations are almost complete for the second biannual ‘The Alchemy of Gathering: Wellness – Community – Creativity.’ This unique wellness festival will be held at the beautiful Native Sons Hall in downtown Courtenay on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10:30 till 6.

This gathering will host an array of different techniques and tools to help on the physical, mental and spiritual healing journey. In the Grand Hall, experience three different sound healing performances, by Joanna Finch, Jesse Epp and Anand David Embry, throughout the entire event. Participate in different Interactive Stations such as the collaborative drawing station and several meditation techniques. Also, have access to over 40 businesses pertaining to wellness and creativity, and an array of healers, readers, energy workers, practitioners, and more!

Downstairs in the Lodge room, attend various wellness workshops, some of which will involve audience participation. One of the workshops will be facilitated by the event creator and co-ordinator, local artist and author Jenna Walker. This workshop will allow space for artistic emotional expression and teachings from her book A Guide to the Collective Awakening: Advice, Tools & Art Projects with which this event was inspired. After a short talk, participants will be provided with set up and supplies to make their own piece of art. Other workshops include, discovering techniques and tips on micro dosing psilocybin with Nala Reklaw and galactic activations with Rita Krebs.

Come join in on the Alchemy of Gathering to experience a time and space to gather and share ideas on wellness, connection, identity, creativity, healing, and more. Let us come together to celebrate the community and love that is here NOW!
