The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is in operation for the season.
This is a free income tax filing service for low-income individuals and households in the Comox Valley.
The program serves seniors, students, newcomers, women, men, persons with disabilities and social assistance recipients.
This tax clinic is free for those within the following CRA income thresholds guidelines:
(Taxpayer status - Annual income)
Single person 鈥� up to $30,000
Couple 鈥� up to $40,000
One adult with child 鈥� up to $35,000
Each additional dependent 鈥� up to $2,500
Interest income鈥攍ess than $1,000
Drop-offs and walk-ins every Tuesday for the months of March and April, 1鈥�3:30 p.m. at the Comox Valley Lions Club, 1729 Comox Ave. Entrance from the rear parking lot. For more information call 250-339-6232 and leave a message.
