The 431 Air Demonstration Snowbirds will prepare for their upcoming show season at 19 Wing Comox from May 3 to May 24, 2025. The Snowbirds will be performing in Nanaimo on Aug 15 and 16.
The team may fly up to three times per day. Once in the morning and afternoon with a potential third flight if needed. Flying schedules will not be posted to the public on social media, as training times are subject to change depending on weather and operational requirements.
Those who wish to view the Snowbirds from Air Force Beach are required to have a parking pass. The season pass is $31.50 and is valid for all days, including weekends. The daily pass is $5.00 and is only valid Monday to Friday.
Passes can be purchased at the campground office, from March 15 until the May long weekend. The campground office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. With limited parking capacity during Snowbird season, vehicles may be turned away if the parking area is full.
There are many other areas to view the Snowbirds practice shows, including the Heritage Air Park, which is just down from the Comox Air Force Museum.
Members of the public are reminded that the Snowbirds are in Comox to train and prepare for the upcoming show season. The Snowbirds represent the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of the Canadian Armed Forces and inspire young Canadians to consider a career in aviation and the forces.
