Two Midget hockey teams host Island final games this weekend

It's going to be a huge weekend for the Comox Valley's two Midget Rep minor hockey teams.

It's going to be a huge weekend for the Comox Valley's two Midget Rep minor hockey teams.

They are both hosting deciding game threes for their respective Vancouver Island championship, with all the action at Comox Valley Sports Centre Arena No. 1.

Rideout Construction Midget Chiefs Tier 2 plays Nanaimo on Saturday, March 5 at 1:30 p.m. while Happy's Source for Sports Midget Tier 1 Chiefs take on Nanaimo on Sunday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m.

Hockey fans are invited to come out and support their local team as they pursue the pinnacle of puck supremacy on the Island. Admission is free.
