On Aug. 20, a small group of dedicated athletes celebrated their successes and completion of the first-ever All Start Beach Volleyball Training Program with Olympian Martin Reader in the Comox Valley.
It was a 10-week summer journey of very early mornings for these teens; pushing physical and mental limitations, incredibly organized and focused learning opportunities and so much fun.
It was a fantastic day beginning with a mini co-ed four-on-four beach volleyball tournament where athletes strove for a sweet trophy and ending with some well-deserved awards, good food and sweet treats.
