Slo-pitch, masters baseball still looking for players

There is still room for players in the Comox Valley Sports & Social Club鈥檚 Sunday evening slo-pitch league.

The new league is close to eight teams, but needs some more players who鈥檇 like to get out and get some fun game time in 鈥� particularly guys. The league does not play on long weekends and starts up on May 8, with a schedule coming out soon.

Meanwhile, the Komoux Masters Real Baseball League is still looking for new players as teams are in need.

If you are 35 years old or older come on

out; the last spring training day is May 1, and the first league game is May 8.

 

All the action is at Highland #3. Spring training runs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
