Langford's Starlight Stadium will once again be on the world stage as the Canadian Women's National Team hosts Argentina in an international friendly on April 8.
The match is part of a West Coast series that will see the two teams face off at BC Place in Vancouver before renewing their rivalry in Langford four days later.
This will be the third time in recent years that the Canadian national team has played in Langford.
A capacity crowd at Starlight Stadium witnessed a thrilling 2-2 draw against Jamaica in 2022, followed by an unforgettable 5-0 victory over Australia in 2023, marking the second-to-last match of Canadian soccer legend Christine Sinclair鈥檚 career.
Both teams are ranked in the top 35 in the world, with Canada currently sitting seventh and Argentina 33rd.
Canada is unbeaten against Argentina, having won all six of their previous encounters dating back to 2003. Their most recent meeting, in October 2022 in C谩diz, Spain, ended in a 2-0 victory for the Canadians.
The match will also mark the first opportunity for Canadian fans to see head coach Casey Stoney lead the women's team on home soil.
Stoney, who previously coached San Diego Wave and Manchester United, brings a wealth of experience, having also enjoyed a 20-year playing career.

Canada enters the match in strong form, having recently claimed the 2025 Pinatar Cup. The team went undefeated in the tournament, drawing 1-1 with China before securing a 2-0 victory over Mexico and a dominant 7-0 win against Chinese Taipei to lift the trophy.
While there are no players on the current roster from Vancouver Island, three budding superstars from a short ferry ride away will keep fans intrigued.
Jordyn Huitema, Julia Grosso and Emma Regan 鈥� all under the age of 26 鈥� grew up in Greater Vancouver and played for Lower Mainland-based clubs.
Huitema, 23, a dynamic striker and member of Seattle Reign, has notched 88 international appearances, scoring 23 goals and seven assists for Canada in her young career. Grosso, 24, a midfielder with the Chicago Red Stars, has amassed 70 appearances, tallying four goals and three assists. Meanwhile, Regan, 25, a midfielder with AFC Toronto, burst onto the scene during the Pinatar Cup, appearing in all matches and providing pivotal minutes for the Canadians.
Huitema and Grosso were both part of Canada's historic triumph at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games when Canada claimed its first-ever gold medal in the sport, with Grosso clinching the victory by scoring in the penalty shootout.
