The Isfeld Ice won the junior girls’ North Island basketball championships for the second year in a row with convincing wins over Wellington (Nanaimo), Ballenas (Parksville) and Dover Bay (Nanaimo). All players played significant minutes and hit the scoresheet in all three games. Isfeld heads into the Island Championships this weekend as the top-ranked team in the North, and has been ranked in the top 10 in B.C. all year.
