Grey Cup arrives at 19 Wing in advance of Sunday's game

The Grey Cup arrived at 19 Wing Comox for a special viewing for members of the wing Wednesday prior to the championship CFL game Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.

The Grey Cup arrived at 19 Wing Comox for a special viewing for members of the wing Wednesday prior to the championship CFL game Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.

Col. Chris Shapka, who is both the commander for the wing as well as a veteran CFL official, presented the trophy to members gathered at the Mess Hall alongside CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrose, Keeper of the Grey Cup Jeff McWhinney and Matthew Scianitti of TSN. 

Ambrose officially announced that Shapka will be part of the officiating crew at Sunday's Grey Cup.

The game is set for 3:30 p.m. with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers taking on the Toronto Argonauts at BC Place.
