Gorge FC exacted some revenge against Comox Valley United with a 3-2 win Saturday in Victoria in Vancouver Island Soccer League action.

Gorge FC exacted some revenge against Comox Valley United with a 3-2 win Saturday in Victoria in Vancouver Island Soccer League action.

CVU beat Gorge 2-1 Oct. 17 at home.

On Saturday, Gorge was up 3-0 by the 52-minute mark. Comox Valley forward Joe Butcher scored at 60 minutes, and added a second goal nine minutes later, but the hosts held on for the win.

Comox Valley hosts the Victoria Highlanders, Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Vanier turf. Kickoff is 6 p.m. Both teams have nine points for a share of third place in the VISL first division standings.
