The Comox Valley's talented trio of Canadian Interuniversity Sport men's basketball players have just completed impressive regular seasons.
Keenan Milburn ( Isfeld Ice) in his first year in CIS led the 8-16 Calgary Dinos with 64 assists and averaged 9.6 points per game, totalling 230 points for the season.
Ryan MacKinnon (Highland Raiders) led the 15-9 UVic Vikes in scoring with 410 points, 17.1 per game, was fifth in the entire CIS in steals with 55, hit 52 three-pointers and dished 59 assists.
Calvin Westbrook (Vanier Towhees) started for the 21-3 Trinity Western Spartans, averaging 14.3 points, totalling 344 points and collecting 51 assists.
UVic and Trinity Western are in playoff action this weekend: Victoria is in Edmonton to take on the University of Alberta while TWU is in Langley to face Fraser Valley.
