Comox Valley U13 girls win hockey tournament in Powell River

The U13 Comox Valley Female Lightning had an amazing weekend of hockey and team bonding at the inaugural Powell River Queens Cup.

The team went undefeated through the entire tournament winning all five games to bring home gold!

From stellar offence, to exceptional defence and goaltending, it was a true team win. Thank you to our coaches and a special shout out to the U9 Lightning team, equipped with kazoos and signs who cheered the team on to victory.
