On Tuesday, April 12, the Comox Ladies Golf League had flighted play.

"A" flight: low gross was Nancy Riva, low net was Grace Coulter. "B" flight: low gross was Linda Broadbent, low net was a three-way tie between Suzy Venuta, Barb Dixson and Darlene Macauley. "C" flight: low gross was Monique Fawcett, low net was Yvonne Higgs.

Sponsor prizes went to: Nancy Newton, Nancy Riva, Grace Coulter and Monique Fawcett. Monique Walker had the longest putt. Chip-ins: Yvonne Higgs, Linda Broadbent, Joan Webber and Monique Fawcett.

Good golf

Although Tuesday morning鈥檚 weather conditions were less than ideal, there was good golf played by members of the Crown Isle Ladies Club.  It was a regular game and the honours go to the following:

1st low gross was Val Dingwall with 88 and 2nd low gross May Mitchell at 89. Julie Tuepah had 1st low net with 72 and Donna Wilson鈥檚 74 was 2nd low net.

May Mitchell had birdies on both #2 and #5 and Helen Flynn scored a birdie on #2. KPs were awarded to Pat Johnson (#4) and May Mitchell (#12).
