Sunday morning was cool, windy, and cloudy, but Mother Nature held off on most of the day’s forecasted rain and gave the participants and volunteers a terrific experience at the 2024 Shoreline Orthodontics Tri-K Triathlon.
The event was held around the Comox Valley Sports Centre on the morning and afternoon of Sunday, May 26. More than 240 participants from ages 4 through to 77 came out with the support of more than 50 hard-working and appreciated volunteers to cover the pool swim, transition, road bike, and trail run. And there were lots of spectators to cheer and motivate.
