We should reconsider our priorities when looking at the Notre Dame cathedral situation

Dear editor,

Thank you for the excellent editorial in the Thursday, April 25 issue (Trying to rebuild history). It echoes my thoughts as I listened to the fervent declarations of commitment to resurrect Notre Dame cathedral. I suspect that Jesus wouldn鈥檛 have been advocating for the spending of millions to rebuild a worship space while there are those who are hungry and homeless.
