Dear editor,
I am in complete agreement with Grant Gordon's opinions expressed in his letter of April 15 about the Comox Valley Fish and Game Protective Association.
They have removed a popular area from public access in order to provide facilities for benefit of their membership.
Not that long ago, my wife and I used to take the dogs to Comox Lake in the afternoon, enjoy the scenery and do a bit of socializing. There were usually families there doing the same thing.
That's all gone now and teens are being blamed. They may bear some blame, but I doubt that they are as bad as they are painted.
Comox is doing a similar thing and blaming the young for problems at Goose Spit. I suppose it's a symptom of our times.
