LETTER - If there’s no logging happening, why worry about the protestors?

Dear editor,

John Horgan has sunk to a new low saying that there is no logging currently in Fairy Creek. If this is the case then why do protesters need to go home? Spin doctoring at its best; there is a very small specific area Teal Jones has stopped logging.

These ancient trees are being cut daily and it is heartbreaking to see in the face of our current climate emergency. What is the politician’s response to this? Election promises then business as usual. He is in trouble in the next provincial election and has made it impossible for me to consider voting NDP again.

Jenn Coulombe,

Cumberland
