Dear editor,
Thank you, “Big–Oil,” for the timely ‘gouge.’ Now that gasoline prices are moving up, perhaps people will start to appreciate what we take for granted. The convenient trips across town or out of town, ignoring the speed limit or driving the kid to and from school just got a lot more expensive.
The burning of gas and CO2 emissions will decline and for that our progeny will thank us.
Price of gas too high? Consider all you do with gasoline and imagine doing it without gasoline, not so expensive now that we put a real value on the power of fossil fuel is it? Premier Horgan is musing about doing something about the high price of gas, if he reduces tax it will be counter to the goal of reducing fossil fuel consumption and will be the same as subsidizing the gas companies.
