In loving memory of Bill who was born in Essen, Germany, immigrated to Ottawa in 1955, and settled in the Comox Valley in 1983.

A loving and caring husband, father, and opa, who cherished the companionship of his family, and is survived by his loving wife Gerda, son Joachim, daughters: Dagmar, Karin (Derek), and Kristina (Robert), and his grandchildren: James, Curtis, Natasha, Ryan, Katrina, and Zakery.
