Bill passed away suddenly in Fanny Bay on March 24, 2004 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his wife Rosemarie (Bush), brother Ken, sister Mary Jane Hubert, and his father George FranKlin Prosser and mother Mary Blanche Cedar (Lindberg). Bill is survived by his daughters: Natasha Weitman of Terrace, BC and Patricia Prosser-Loehr (Richard Loehr) of Fanny Bay; grandchildren: Ramona Hendry, Levi Hendry of Courtenay, Tyra, Lindsay, Jessie Weitman of Terrace, BC, Jonathan Loehr, Andrew Loehr of Sask.; brother Joe of Courtenay; sisters: Donna Eutenier and Jennie Costescue; nieces and nephews: Valerie, Margie, Kathie, Frank, Cindy, Ron, Sandy, Shawn, Beth, Jeremy, Mary Donna, Tatjiana, Owe and David; and an uncle Vern. A Come and Go Tea will be held at 420 Stelling Road, Fanny Bay on Thursday, April 1, 2004 between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. Bill served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he worked at Chrysler of Canada in Windsor, ON and then Alcan Smelters in Kitimat, BC. Bill enjoyed rock hounding, watercolor painting, hiking, camping and canoeing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge (Thornhill Chapter #850) and was a Shriner. Dad was a man who taught those around him by example, was a humble man who loved his family and also enjoyed the outdoors. His kindness and gentleness will be greatly missed.
