In loving memory ~
Wayne passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by loved ones. A husband to Rosemary (60 years), a father to son Kevin (Della), son Chris (Janine), and daughter Kim (Jason). Grandchildren, Jeff, Emily, Caitlin, Jessica, Ava, and Ellis. He leaves behind sister Teri-Kay, brothers Don and Earle (both deceased ), and great friends Neal, Thomas, Bianca, and Pickles. Also a special memory of Seniors Golf pals at Sunshine Hills Golf Course. He was a thoughtful, kind, and principled man who invested in his family and community. He was a man with a good spirit and really enjoyed a good joke or humorous story. He really loved the game of golf and was on the course just two weeks before passing. He worked many years at both Comox and Courtenay liquor stores. He was a charter member of the Comox Valley Lions Club. In lieu of a celebration of life, please take a moment to toast Wayne in your own special way. He would have had a glass of good red wine and a square of dark chocolate.
