God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be
so he closed his arms
around you and whispered:
“Come with me”
you don’t deserve
what you went through
and so he gave you rest
God’s garden must be
beautiful
He only takes the best
In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away
All our hearts were broken
You fought so hard to stay
But when we saw you
sleeping
so peacefully from pain
We would not wish you
back to suffer the pain
again.
Gone but never forgotten
Rest in Peace
The Mt. Washington Funeral Chapel wishes to extend our sincere apology to Walter’s children, Raymond, Linda and Barb (Brian), for their omission in the previous publication.
