VON LENGERKE, Walter Frank Wolfgang (Walt)
Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, July 7th, 2002 at age 66. Walt was born in Cranbrook, British Columbia on September 4th, 1935. He was predeceased by his mother and father and is survived by his loving wife Edith of 44 years; daughters Karen (Les) Pettitt of Comox. B.C., Lisa (John) Maloney of 100 Mile House, B.C., Jill (Todd) Roberts of Delta, B.C.; grandchildren, Lindsay, Taryn, Brendan and Cole; sister Ursula (Doug) Cripps of Palm Springs, California.
Walt was an engineer who loved a challenge and would aways go for it...His accomplishments were too numerous to mention. Walt did things “his way”, and very successfully. He had a wonderful personality that one would not forget. He loved working and contributed much to the community.
A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of Walt’s life will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2002 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY.
