1918 ~ 2005

Vi died peacefully at home on February 7th, 2005 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Tom in 1997. Vi will be forever loved and sadly missed by her chldren: Tom (Ann) and Miriam (Eric), grandchildren: Tom (Angela), Lynette (Steve), Teresa (Phil), and Michael, as well as by her 7 great-grandchildren. Vi graduated from the Royal Jubilee School of Nursing in the early 1940鈥檚 and for many years worked as Head Nurse at St. Joseph鈥檚 General Hospital. A Memorial Reception and Tea will be held on Friday, February 11th, 2005 at 2:00pm in the Glacier Tea Room at Piercy鈥檚 - Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay.
