It is with sadness that the family of Al Adams announce his passing on Saturday, January 3rd, 2004 at the Extended Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is survived by 5 daughters: Barbara (Brian) Culley, Kat Adams, Kim (Dave) Delucry, Lynda (Dean) Agar, Patti (Bob) LeBarron; son Bob Adams; 15 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Al was born and raised in Rollo, Saskatchewan with his brother Mickey. After finishing school he worked at Cominco in Kimberley before joining the R.C.A.F. where he was a pilot for 20 years. He then retired to the Comox Valley where he persued other careers and his passion for golf. Dad was a member of the Comox Legion, as well as president of 888 Wing Association and a long time member of the Comox Golf Club. The family would like to thank the Cumberland Special Care Unit and St. Joseph’s E.C.U. for all the loving kindness shown to Dad and a special thank you to Donna. A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of Al’s life will take place on Saturday, January 10th at 2:00 pm from 888 Wing, CFB, Comox under the direction of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
