Tracy Emily Champion

Champion, Tracy Emily

April 21, 1961 - January 1, 2006

Miss Tracy died suddenly at home from a brain aneurism. She was my only sister, and we had a special bond. Over the years we shared good and bad times, but the past year was the best ever. I am so glad she insisted on moving out here from Toronto with Mom. (I was appalled at the time.) We all lived together for a few months, and even when she got her own place she was over every evening to cook dinner for Mom and visit. Tracy died surrounded by her family, Mom, me, and my fiance, Doug Caswell, doing one of the things she loved best; preparing a special meal for people she cared about. She will be missed by the dogs, Max and Kodi, the cat, Mr. Mac, and her trusty steed, Red, with whom she bushwhacked many a rough mile, as well as her new friends here in the Valley and her oldest and dearest best friends back in Toronto. Tracy was brave, passionate, brilliant, tenacious, hugely caring, and very very funny. Predeceased by our father, Harvey George Champion, and survived by our mother, Irene Gertrude Champion, and myself, Carol Edith Champion.

Sleep sweetly, tender heart, in peace
