1922 ~ 2003
Tom passed away at home on November 26th, 2003. He was born on August 2nd, 1922 in Galt, Ontario and is predeceased by his parents, sister Shirley and co-hort in mischief, brother Bill. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Marjorie, daughter Diana (Don) Johnson, son Derek, and grandchildren BJ and Paige, as well as his sister Dorothy, and brother Edwin. Lost without him are his canine companions Teddy & Freddy. Tom was a 29-year member of the Comox Legion and a 27-year veteran of the R.C.A.F. Many will recognize Tom for the 15 years he spent on the graveyard shift at the Courtenay Mohawk. A Poppy Service will take place on December 11th at 2:00 pm at the Comox Legion Branch 160. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM.
