In loving memory ~

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tara (widow of Horst Breuer) on November 12th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tara is survived by her two sons Robin and Toby, grandchildren Clark and Brook, partner Rob and four siblings Dinah, Wendy, Corey and Jonathan. She has also left behind a large family and many friends all of whom loved and adored her. Tara was a strong, loving and compassionate person beginning her working career as a nurse then moved on to working with the physically and mentally challenged before retiring. Tara grew up on Thetis Island eventually making her way to the Comox Valley where she spent the last 50 years of her beautiful life.

A memorial service will be held at Piercy's - Mt. Washington Funeral Home on December 2nd at 1 pm. There is limited seating and as Tara touched so many people's lives we ask that only family and friends present and past of Tara's attend.
