Nagy, Stella Marie “Pansy”
Pansy Nagy passed away in Victoria, British Columbia on August 10th, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Pansy was predeceased by her brother Arthur Yeomans, her father Alex Yeomans and her mother Nellie Yeomans. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Jozsef Nagy; her sons: Carey, Arnie, Martin and Trevor; her daughters: Sonja (Len), Maria (Ed) and Treena (Joe); her grandchildren: Sarah, Tasha and Jordan; her great grandson Caleb; her brothers: Ross (Pappy), Hector and Jim (Shirley); her sisters: Mary-Ann, Lois, Thelma and Judy; many nieces and nephews. Pansy loved music. She would spend hours listening to music and making tapes. She also wrote poems and stories and loved to tell her children stories about “the old days” growing up and spending time with her gramma. She was a kind, sweet woman who, health permitting, would knit blankets for her grandchildren. Pansy is now peacefully in the arms of Jesus and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Courtenay on Tuesday, August 17th, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pansy’s memory made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
