In Loving Memory ~

With heartwarming memories, our family is saddened by the passing of Sinh Thi Tran, on Monday, August 28th, 2023, surrounded by immediate family. Sinh was born on November 7th, 1956, in Hai Phong, Vietnam, and came to Canada in 1983. For 35 years she lived and raised her family in Courtenay, B.C., until her passing.

She was dedicated to her family and had a bonded work ethic. Her most cherished moments were with family during gatherings or special occasions. She enjoyed time in the garden, going for walks, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. Her beautiful smile brought warmth to every room.

She was a sister to the Christ the King church community and a friend to many.

She was predeceased by her parents. Sinh was a devoted wife to Tan Tran, and a mother to LanAnh, Trung(Ngan), Peter, and Tim(Nhi).

The memorial service was held on September 6th, 2023, at Christ the King Church with Mass at 12:00 p.m. and burial followed the funeral at 2:00 p.m. at Courtenay Civic Cemetery.

The family is thankful for the team of doctors and nurses who cared for Mom during her time at North Island Hospital Comox Valley, Victoria Regional Hospital, and Dr. Peter Gee.
