In loving memory ~

It is with sadness the family of Shawn announces his sudden death on September 26, 2023.

Shawn was predeceased by his father Joe Wells and his mother Chris.

He is survived by his brothers; Mark (Laurie), and Colin (Mary), sister Darlene (Tony), nieces and nephews; Safron, Logan, Anthony, and Natasha.

Shaw was born in the Comox Valley in 1978. Our father owned and operated Midway Tool Rentals on Cumberland Rd for many years where Shawn first lived. Because of this (and our dad), Shawn learned to run, operate, and fix any small piece of equipment at a very young age. He loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors in nature at every opportunity.

I would like to thank the staff at Nim Nim Place Group Home; Alaina, Christine, Ramya and Nitleen for the great care, love, and friendship that you gave to Shawn daily. Also, to his true friend Jack Pridge, his hunting and fishing partner.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Shawn's friends and family to share stories and memories on October 15th, at 3 p.m. at the Royston Community Hall, 3902 South Island Hwy, Royston, B.C.
