Born June 2, 1973 in Sandy Point, Nova Scotia, passed away January 7, 2004 in Costa Maya, Mexico. Survived by wife, Jessica del Carmen Olate Jamasmie (Santiago, Chile), parents, John and Edith (Comox, BC), brother, John (408 Sqn., CFB Edmonton, AB) and sister, Ann Maureen (New Westminster, BC).

Sean graduated from The Humber College School of Music in 1995 and was employed as a musician on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. In his 30 years of life, he touched the lives of so many people through his travels, his language studies (he knew four languages), his work on the cruise ships and his work with the mentally challenged. Sean loved life and made easy friendships with people from all walks of life. He could make anyone feel at ease by a flash of his warm smile and his great sense of humour.

Our beloved light Seany, has gone to the land of the trees but will always remain in the hearts of su amoré Jessy, his parents, his brother and sister and his many friends.

Vigil prayers for Sean will be held at the Comox Valley Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chapel at CFB Comox. The details for the vigil prayers and funeral have not yet been finalized but will be arranged through the Comox Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mission Hills Cemetery.
