Sinclair, Ross Herbert

Ross was born May 24th, 1929 in Taber, Alberta. He moved to Courtenay, BC at a young age, where he attended school at Tsolum High. He started working for Comox Logging in Courtenay at the age of 18, and in 1962 he went down to Lake Cowichan to work with T.W. MacKenzie, where he continued on in his successful career in the logging industry, and his life’s path.

Ross passed away on February 16, 2006. He was predeceased by his father Herbert and mother Winnifred Sinclair, his brothers Mac and Noel Sinclair, his sister Margret Grieve, and his loving wife Gladys Sinclair. He is survived by his sister Claire Oland of Courtenay, his sister-in-law Lola Sinclaire of Lake Cowichan, and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and fellow crib players. There will be a “Celebration of Life” Tea for Ross downstairs at the Lake Cowichan Legion on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at 1:00pm.
