In Loving Memory ~
It is with much love and sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Cameron.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Catherine and Nancy; sister Frances Hudock; faithful companion Jessie Stewart; sister-in-law Gloria Cameron; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Our beloved Ron was born in Eston, Saskatchewan, to Arnold and Harriet Cameron.
The family moved to Willow Point in 1943. After attending CARIHI, Ron graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He travelled the world in his job and was particularly proud that he was a consultant for many paper mills in cutting their toxic emissions.
Upon retirement, Ron settled in Merville where he built his house, trained his horses, raised honeybees, and was close to his family. He was a faithful and loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, growing rhododendrons, and panning for gold on the Oyster River.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, and older brother Don.
Special thanks to Evergreen Nursing Home for their love and care for Ron. Thanks to Murray Etty for his guidance and support.
A family service was held to celebrate his life. If you wish, donations in Ron's name can be made to the World Wildlife Organization or charity of your choice.
Please do something nice for someone each day, as Ron did.
