In Loving Memory ~
Robert "Bob" William Castle made his peaceful, final trip home on July 11th 2023.
Bob was predeceased by his best friend and wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann Castle (2011), and his beautiful daughter Cheryl (1975).
Bob is survived by his son Robert, wife Lilly, and grandchildren Talisa & Ryan. Bob is also survived by many loving family members from the Barry, Herman, Usher, and Wright families.
Bob was born in Kisbey, Saskatchewan in 1936 and was a prairie boy at heart. After moving to the west coast, Bob finished grade school here in Courtenay in 1955, and graduated from barbering school in Vancouver shortly after. Bob was one of the master barbers in the Comox Valley, until his "official" retirement at 80 years old.
Bob loved sports - especially his Saskatchewan Roughriders. Bob also had a big heart for animals. He loved dancing, music, and the great outdoors.
Above all, he enjoyed having time with his family and friends.
Bob was a selfless man, who supported his family every step of the way with a steady heart. A friendly neighbour, and a reliable Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend 鈥� Bob will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
There will be no service as requested. The Castle family would like to extend immense gratitude to the empathetic team at the Comox Valley Hospital for their support.
