In loving memory ~

Bob passed away peacefully in hospital with his loving family at his side.

He will be remembered by his wife Margo of 54 years, daughters Megan (Jake), Erin (Dom); grandchildren Rory, Beatrix; Scarlett, Alys, brother Gordon (Heather), sister-in-law Louise, brother-in-law Rodney, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was predeceased by parents Gilbert and Ethel Waterman, infant brother Glen, brother Allen, sister-in-law Diana and niece Susan.

Born in Comox and raised in Fanny Bay, Bob enjoyed memories of happy times and hi-jinx with his two brothers and friends. After graduating high school, he attended Devry Technical Institute in Toronto then worked for BC Tel/Telus for thirty years; starting in Kamloops, Williams Lake and transferred to Campbell River in 1975.

Bob was an avid salmon and trout fisherman who enjoyed fly-tying and planning the next trip. His many hobbies included playing crib (and any other card game), gardening, woodworking, building, fixing and puttering. He also enjoyed camping and vacations, traveling by boat, plane and road throughout BC, Manitoba and the Yukon. When not fishing, hardly a day went by without going for the daily coffee chat with the bunch and solving the world's problems.

A special Thank You to staff at Yucalta Lodge for your wonderful care, compassion and cheerful attitude to Bob in his time there and to Dr. Naicker and staff at CR hospital, floor 3-B for their round-the-clock care. We are extremely grateful to family, friends and neighbours for your support over the last few years.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society of BC, or CR Hospital Foundation.
