Richard D. Prosick passed away peacefully in his sleep at Oceanside Hospice at the age of 83. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 10, 1941, Richard built a long and respected career in construction as a painter and decorator. He had a deep passion for antique cars and took great pride in his personal collection.
Richard will be lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and quick wit. He approached life as a battle to be won, facing challenges head-on with determination and resilience.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne, his son Collin, and daughters Peggy, Kelly, Lori, and Shelley. His grandson Jesse and granddaughter Selene remained close by his side in his final days.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. Those who wish to honour his memory may consider making a donation to Oceanside Hospice.
When I'm Gone
When I come to the end of my journey
And travel my last weary mile,
Remember the joy and laughter we shared,
Forget the troubles for a while.
Recall the battles I have conquered,
The love and strength I leave behind.
Stand for a moment in the sunset's glow,
And keep my memory kind.
