Raymond LAUNER
June 1, 1945 to December 17, 2003
Passed away suddenly age 58 years.
Predeceased by brother Allan, parents Mary and Karl.
Leaving behind Nancy, his loving wife for 37 years, daughter Chris (Mike) Renouf, grandson Shain, granddaughter Breiann, daughter Ramona (Paul) Simard and grandson Nathan. Brothers Keith Launer, Dan (Liane), nephews Allan and Eric Launer, sister Gale (Bob) Abello. Also mourning his going are his in-laws, many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Ray worked for Chevron for many years. He was hardworking, kind and generous. Had a wonderful sense of humour always making people smile. he like to ski, fish, build, and fix things. He deeply loved his family. Ray’s world centered around his beloved, cherished daughters and their families. He always looked for something that he could do for them. His grandchildren were the light of his life and they lovingly called him Papa.
Ray’s passing leaves a huge empty void in the lives of family and friends. The joy that came from him will be greatly missed.
Our hearts are empty,

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, December 20 at Piercy’s. Cremation followed.
