With love, we celebrate the life of Rae Elizabeth Pitt, who passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025.
Rae was predeceased by her husband, Al Pitt; her parents, Robert Pitt and Rachel Clements; and her siblings, Bob, George, Alpha, and David. She leaves behind her children, Katherine Robinson, Al (Debbie), Bob, Keith, and Ian Pitt.
She was a cherished grandmother to Adam, Kim, Trisha, Aaron, Allison, Sabina, and Lucas, and a proud great-grandmother to many little ones who brought her joy. Rae also leaves behind her dear nieces and nephews: Brandon, Courtney, Mary, and Rachel.
Rae was a devoted mother and grandmother, always embracing the title of "Mom" with pride. She worked as a dedicated bookkeeper and receptionist, supporting two medical offices and advocating for workers' rights. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles, pottery, and birdwatching.
She will be deeply missed, but her warmth and kindness will live on in those she loved.
A special thank you to the staff at Northern Island Hospital Comox Valley, Dr. Reggler, and the nurses on the 3rd and 4th floors for their care and support.
