Povl (Paul)
1929 -2004
Paul entered peacefully into the presence of his loving heavenly Father at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday July 30th, one day before his 75th birthday. Paul suffered a stroke in April followed by dementia; he left us quickly with very little pain. He is survived by two older brothers: Jorgen and Ville, of Vorop, Denmark. He will and is greatly missed by his many friends at the Comox Municipal Marina where he had his “little ship” S.V.Kattegaff, his home away from home. Paul was a member of the Black Creek Mennonite Brethren Church. Also a member of the Cape Lazo Power & Sail Squadron. Service of Remembrance was held at the Mennonite Church in conjunction with their 10:00 am Service Sunday, August 8th. Special thanks to Dr. R. Silcox and to all the nurses & staff on the 2nd & 3rd floor of St. Joseph’s Hospital.
