In Loving Memory ~
Peter passed away peacefully at home in the company of his loving wife of 56 years and his daughter.
He was born in St. Annaprochie, the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1950. The family then settled in Edmonton, AB.
He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1963 and trained as an aero-engine technician. His career spanned 35 years. His last posting to Comox was the one he cherished the most.
Being able to go fishing in the ocean was his dream come true. He also liked woodworking and his beautiful flower gardens and apple trees.
Peter will be deeply missed by his wife Jean, daughters Karen (Danny) and Katherine, and grandchildren Brooklyn and Tyson. He is also survived by his brothers Jasper (Alice) and Michael (Cathy) and sisters Grace (Irv), Renie, Elly and Margaret (John) and many nieces and nephews.
His dedication to his family and his sharp, quick wit will be remembered forever.
