In Loving Memory (1943-2024) ~

Penny died peacefully at home in early February. She is survived by her three daughters Shari Griffin [Rick], Jeannie Isbister [Jim] and Kelly Isbister [Chris], six grandchildren Isaac, Rae, Jade, Leigh, Sebastien, Monet, and three great grandchildren Jasper, Laurence and Thomas.

Penny also leaves behind her dear sister Pat Morris, nieces Susan and Shelley and nephew Raymond.

Penny's loyal canine friend, Brie, has been embraced by family members.

Penny grew up on Saltspring Island and moved to the Comox Valley in 1968. Penny was a successful entrepreneur and established North Star Travel in the 1980's, as well as designing and teaching a certified Travel Agent course at NICC and VCC.

She was known for her competitive spirit as a tennis and badminton player and she played a mean game of ping pong. Penny was highly intelligent and thoroughly enjoyed debating politics. Watching her great grandchildren grow and thrive brought her great joy!

Penny will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
