Ervin, Paul Frederick

April 30, 1943 - July 21, 2004

Paul passed away unexpectedly after running a great race at Vanier Track alongside many friends.

Paul was born and raised in a family of 7 brothers and 2 sisters in Saint John, New Brunswick. He will be sadly missed by his wife Bonny, his daughter Pepper (Andrew), son Ryan (Ina), 2 brothers: Bobby (Maureen) and Ralph (Rose), 1 sister Vivianne (Donvil), father-in-law Buster, and many nephews, nieces and extended family.

After serving in the Canadian Armed Forces for 29 years, Paul and his wife Bonny retired in the beautiful Comox Valley. Paul and Bonny enjoyed a very active lifestyle and made the Valley a special playground for them and their many friends.

Paul was proud to be a Tailgate Triathlete, a Comox Valley Road Runner, a member of Swim-Fit Gang, and Rob Sykes’s spin workouts.

Paul was very active in the community and a dedicated volunteer. Many of Paul’s most rewarding moments occurred during his 10 years as a volunteer disabled ski instructor. As a result of his kind, courteous and happy disposition many of his customers became his friends. Paul was lucky to have many friends and family who enriched his life immensely.

We miss you Paul.

Should friends wish, donations in his memory to the Trans Canada Trail would be appreciated. www.tctrail.ca
