In Loving Memory ~

It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Patti Wheeldon.

She was pre-deceased by her partner, Peter Wydenes, her parents, Dick and Jean Wheeldon, her brother Richard Wheeldon, and brother-in-law Rick.

Patti was born October 14th, 1948, In Comox at St Joseph's Hospital, the oldest of six siblings.

She leaves behind her son Rod (Cyd), and stepchildren Harry, Vince and Susan. Grandchildren Reid, Amber, Emily, Maddie, Alex, Joey, and Dillon. Siblings Jim (Karen), Denise, Bill (Linda) and David (Sandra).

Patti also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Brad (Chantelle), Alysha (Darren), Travis (Sylvia), Kent (Jenn), Riley (Erica), Dana (Andrew) and their families. Also, her great-nieces and nephews were very dear to her.

Patti worked in the travel industry for many years, even owning her own agency, North Star Travel. In later years, she worked in the healthcare industry looking after special needs patients. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, cards and hosting family and friends. She will be very missed but will carry on in our hearts. The bridge and cinch worlds will never be the same.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Courtenay Legion upstairs on March 23rd at 1 pm.
