Beachey - Patricia Irene “Patti” of Comox, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, August 27th, 2003, at age 47. Patti was born in Burks Halls Hospital, February 16, 1956 to Muriel F. Miller (nee: Wagar) and Oliver E. Miller of Chapman Valley (Magnetawan, Ontario). Her first months were spent on the farm in Chapman Valley, and the next 3 years were spent in Dryden and Vermillion Bay, Ontario. The family moved to Sundridge in 1960 where Patti attended Elementary and Secondary School. As a young woman, Patti worked as a broker for Darling Insurance Company. Her favourite recreational pursuit was riding her horses Dusty, Perky and Ginger and entering riding competitions. In 1989, Patti met Ken and moved with him to Vancouver and then to Comox. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Ken; son Terry Sararas and companion Joline; grandson Dallas McCraig Sararas; brother Carmen and wife Diane Miller; nephews and nieces Ted, Travis, Curtis, Colleen, Robyn and Jennifer, as well as her sister Caroline Miller.
A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of Patti’s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at 1:30 p.m. from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, with Chaplain Gordon Carter officiating. Fellowship and refreshments will follow in the “Garden Room and Outdoor Patio” of the Funeral Home.
