WEBSTER - Norris Ronald of Courtenay passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, June 11th, 2002, at age 74. Norris is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marie; daughter Barbara (Richard) of Whitby, Ontario; sons David (Karen) of Red Deer, Alberta and John (Teresa) of Courtenay; grandchildren Samantha, Tabitha, Devin, Baylee, Justin and Jaymee. Norris was well-known for the weekly flea market he ran at the Washington Inn for the past 10 years. A Service of Remembrance in celebration of his life will take place from the Chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road on Saturday, June 15th at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Ray Brandon officiating, followed by entombment at Courtenay Civic Cemetery and refreshments and fellowship in the “Garden Room and Outdoor Patio” of the funeral home.
