Norman passed away peacefully at the Extended Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C. on Saturday, January 8, 2005.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years, Marjorie; his only son Frederick (Bonnie) of Grimsby, Ontario; his grandchildren: James & Scott (Sandra); his great grandchildren: Cole, Brett and Piper; his special cousin Jack (Irene) McKinnon of Coquitlam, B.C. and his beloved Sheltie, Cole.

He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, and his second wife, Donna.

Norman was born on April 3, 1912 in Toronto, Ontario. He was a man of many talents, the last being an avid gardener of flowers. He shared many cuttings of begonias, fuschias, hydrangeas and geraniums with his friends and neighbours. He will be missed by his special neighbours Jack (Blanche) Campbell, his close friends Norma Cronmiller and Myrtle Capling.

A Combined Service of Remembrance will be held at the “Extended Care” wing of St. Joseph’s General Hospital, 2137 Comox Ave., Comox on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. His wishes were to be cremated.

Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY.
